September 2005 saw the first release from Cork based three piece, Painting by Numbers. Formed in March 2005, the line up includes Ronan McCann (Guitars, Vocals), David Nelligan (Guitar, Vocals),Darragh Enright, (Drums), and Brian Hassett (Bass). Drawing From a myriad of influences which include the likes of R.E.M, Pixies, Crowded House, and the Flaming Lips, Painting By Numbers have carved their own distinctive sound, Fusing Shimmering guitars with a driving rhythm section and memorable vocal melodies.
